Being successful at forex trading can lead to an amazing lifestyle, giving you the opportunity and flexibility to work to your own hours and earn upwards of a six figure salary. The kind of lifestyle we all dream about right?
But these days it is difficult for new traders to know which direction to take. You can find so many forex products, courses and robots out there, it can become very confusing to know which is the best option for you.
When I first started trading I invested in a course, because I knew I really wanted to learn about forex and wanted to understand how everything works. These days most new traders rely on software to do this for them, which generally isn’t as effective. Plus I always believe it’s best to know what’s going on rather than relying on a robot.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am a self made forex expert who reviews all new up and coming forex related products that have been created by ‘forex gurus’ whether they be robots, courses or even just strategies.
So when Bill told me he was releasing a new and ‘better’ version of Forex Income Engine I was keen to have a look. Could I find any new tricks in his material that could also benefit me? Or was it just the same as the original Forex Income Engine course, just released to sound better?

Here is the first thing that caught my attention, if Bill could teach me how to triple my profit potential through his little ‘trick’ then I’d be laughing. The problem is so many gurus claim to have such tricks, so how do you know if Bill’s will work?
I’ve lost count of the number of times I would see a statement like this, get my credit card out and buy in to something that didn’t teach me anything new or different at all. I know just how frustrating it is and hope to help others avoid making the same mistakes that I made.
So let’s get straight down to business.
Forex Income Engine: What Do You Get?
When I first looked at Forex Income Engine, it wasn’t a huge surprise as the sales page tells you exactly what’s inside; 7 videos totalling over 6 hours of tape, trading manual, charting software and profit blueprints.
Six hours is a long time!
I’m not that patient and already know a lot about forex trading, but as I didn’t want to miss anything out it was important that I went through all the material in detail.
The first video looks at forex and trading basics, so it’s fair to say that I wasn’t going to take too much from it and I wasn’t mistaken. It was full of painfully drawn out pieces of trading advice like how to use moving averages and identifying trends, it really was a struggle.
That said, it is very well written and does cover everything the beginner needs to know. But for me, it was like forcing Michael Jordan to watch a video on how to throw a basketball.
In videos 2, 3 and 4, Bill teaches 3 trading methods; Ignition Method, Overdrive Method and Spring Method. Nothing ground breaking here but the methods are complete, with set up conditions, entry, exit and stop loss rules which are all vital aspects of a succesful method.
- Ignition Method targets quick hit moves in very short term trends as the trend recovers from corrective action (average trade duration: 1-5 bars).
- Overdrive Method targets momentum trend swings in the market (average trade duration: 1-5 bars).
- Spring method targets longer reversal countertrend swings in the market (average trade duration: 1-5 bars).
Video 5 is all about Forex Brokers, Trading Platforms and Charting Software. Bill shows you how to find the right broker using his ‘unique’ broker scorecard, as well as using MetaTrader 4 and other platforms. You can also see live trading examples, which will be useful to people who have never traded before.
Now We’re Getting Somewhere
Video 6 is where you start to see Bill’s expertise really shine through. Here he brings everything together so you fully understand the processes and skills required to become a successful, and winning, trader, including the psychology and discipline that traders must have.
I really enjoyed learning about Bill’s risk management rules: this is one area that he really does excel at. So much so that I will be taking bits from this to add to my own work.
He also teaches you how to get the most out of the 3 methods taught in the earlier videos, utilizing their full potential cooperatively. I definitely thought this was the best video and while only about 45 minutes was cram packed full of useful material.
You also get the Forex Income Engine Trading Blueprints, which are step by step trading rules for implementing all 3 of Bill’s trading methods. These are a really helpful quick reference.
You’re Not Alone
One of the parts of the course that stands out as different to a lot out there, is the support that Bill and his team provide. And this is good support, it’s not a case of sending you all the information and letting you get on with it. Bill wants every single member of Forex Income Engine to make a success of forex trading.
The member’s website will be a help to all traders regardless of the amount of experience you have, as some of Bill’s teachings are totally unique to him.
Forex Income Engine: the Conclusion
My overall thoughts on Forex Income Engine is that it is a good solid product. There will not be that many traders out there who will not learn something from this. I know I did.
There is a certain amount of fluff and perhaps some areas that are a bit thin and could do with more explanation. But if you know how to suck the right bits of knowledge out, I’m sure that anyone can make a killing and pretty quickly.
But Is It All Good?
The first thing I always consider when I’m reviewing a product is the price, and Forex Income Engine is not the cheapest day trading course you can buy online! When you also consider that Bill’s recommendation is to start trading with $500 in your account this is going to cost you to get started.
Of course what you learn here is how to make some serious money. Rather than giving you fish, Bill teaches you how to fish, so the potential is there for you to generate a massive, passive income for years to come. This must be considered an investment, so if you are not prepared for that then this is not the course for you.
I mentioned in my conclusion that I felt some areas were lacking information. For the more experienced trader this will not make too much difference as you should already know enough for this to not be an issue. For the newbie however I feel that you would have a higher chance of being successful quicker if you were armed with this knowledge.
